A thornless, seedless cultivar of the native honey locust tree, known for its strong winter hardiness and ability to thrive in urban environments. It has an upright, spreading form, fine-textured foliage that turns a golden-yellow in the fall, and grows to about 40-50 feet tall with a 30-35 foot spread
Their fern-like foliage adds a unique texture to the landscape while offering a dappled shade underneath. In the fall their feathery foliage turns an outstanding yellow and will require no raking because of their small leaf size. Their rapid growth rate and extreme toughness make this tree a sure bet.
The Imperial Honey Locust is a medium-sized, thornless, rounded tree with fernlike leaves, growing 30-35' tall and wide, and is salt tolerant.
Pinyon pine is one of the most drought-tolerant evergreen trees. Native to the southwest US, it has spreading branches that gently sweep upward. This habit creates a small, bushy tree that is great for screening. These relatively slow-growing trees are usually compact and oval in shape when young. As they mature, the crown becomes more open. They have stiff, dark green needles bundled in twos. The spherical, reddish-brown cones are very attractive and contain edible nuts. Pinyon pine is one of the best choices for hot, dry, sunny locations.
