Helpful Hints: This auction will close at a rate of 4 lots every minute.  Below you will find some hints/tips that will help you keep up.
  • Watch Feature: Once you are logged in you can utilize the 'watch' button to add items to your review bids list. This will allow you to watch only those items you are interested in.
  • Open Items: Once the auction begins to close (8:30am on 2/20/18) you will see an 'Open Items' link at the top of the page. This is an important feature many people don't notice. Clicking on this link will enable you to have the system only show those lots which have not yet closed including those that are in extended bidding. This will help in those situations that you're bidding on a lot that's in extended bidding and future lots you have interest in are beginning to close. They will be shown much closer together using this Open Items feature. Just a note, this will also refresh your screen.
  • Current Bids: One way to easily place a bid for the next required bid amount is to click the dollar amount that is underlined right next to current high bidder number. This will automatically place this number into the current bid box. Then you just need to click submit bids to continue with the process.
  • Maximum Bids: Using maximum bids is another way to help stay on top of your bids. Using the maximum bid column allows the system to bid for you at the next bid amount without you needing to monitor the auction.
  • Grouped Ending: You'll notice on some of our auctions that certain lots will show up as a GROUP. All lots within this group must have a period of 3 minutes of inactivity before any item in the group will close. This is done to give the buyers the ability to choose which of the assets they prefer and bid on that one without losing the opportunity to bid on their 2nd choice, 3rd choice, etc.

EXPLANATIONS & DEFINITIONS FOR TITLES AND EMISSIONS:
  • MILEAGE # - This number is the actual number of miles on the vehicle and will be printed on the front of the new title obtained by the buyer.
  • MILEAGE EXEMPT - The Colorado DMV exempts mileage for vehicles 10 years and older.  (Certain vehicles may also be exempt for mileage based on the vehicle weight regardless of the year.)  This does not mean that the mileage on the vehicle is not actual.  It is also not to be assumed that the mileage showing on the odometer is in fact actual.  The new title the buyer will get will show 0 for mileage on the front of the title.
  • MILEAGE NOT ACTUAL - The mileage on the odometer is known to be not accurate.  The new title will show a 0 (or a #) and N.
  • MILEAGE EXCEEDS MECHANICAL LIMITS - The mileage on the odometer has reached it's mechanical limits and will be reflected as a 0 E on the title.
  • EMISSIONS PASSED - A passed emissions test will be provided to the buyer. A temporary tag will be provided for this vehicle.
  • EMISSIONS FAILED - The vehicle failed the emissions test.  As a Colorado vehicle dealer, we can only sell this vehicle to another vehicle dealer or to someone who resides outside the Colorado emissions testing area.  A temporary tag will NOT be provided for this vehicle.
  • EMISSIONS TOW AWAY - An emissions test will not be provided as the vehicle does not run or is otherwise incapable of being emission tested. The vehicle must be towed off or yard. A temporary tag will NOT be provided for this vehicle.
  • EMISSIONS INCOMPLETE - The emissions test could not be completed at the time it was taken because the readiness monitors were "Not Ready". The test neither passed or failed. The buyer will need to obtain a passed test before registering the vehicle if it is required. Here is an explanation from Air Care Colorado. A temporary tag will be provided for this vehicle.
  • EMISSIONS UNABLE TO TEST - The emissions test could not be completed due to unsafe, inaccessible, or malfunctioning equipment. The test neither passed or failed. The buyer will need to obtain a passed test before registering the vehicle if it is required. Here is an explanation from Air Care Colorado. A temporary tag will be provided for this vehicle.
  • EMISSIONS GUARANTEED - Roller Auctions is guaranteeing the vehicle will pass the emissions test or the buyer can bring the vehicle back for a refund of the purchase price only. The buyer will have 3 days from the auction date to get the vehicle emission tested. A temporary tag will be provided for this vehicle.
