October 2024 - Government / Fleet Vehicles and Equipment

Please read the attached pdf regarding the legality of purchasing these light bars. Essentially if none of the below apply it's a crime per C.R.S. 42-4-238 to be in possession:

• Use in an authorized emergency vehicle per C.R.S. 42-1-102
• Used in your role as a peace office
• Specifically authorized by a sheriff or chief of police
• Member of volunteer fire department or ambulance service with a permit
• Vendor in the business of selling these devices
• For use on a collector fire engine, ambulance for the vehicle's historical interest as a collector's item

• Broom was operational with no issues up until it was damaged when disconnecting from loader.
• Broom has low hours of use.  Was used mainly for spring clean up on limited areas.
• Requires one (1) hydraulic circuit to operate both broom rotation and hydraulic angle that utilizes 24 volt cab mounted switch to divert hydraulic flow to the angle cylinder, switch not included. 
• Damaged mounting frame that connects to broom frame. Could be repaired.  Need straightening, welding, possible some fabrication.
• Was on a JD 644P with Rylind Wedgelock mount adapter. The Rylind adapter has been removed and is not included with this broom.
